Another early rise. Met up with Nate for Cracker Barrel. I was tired, may not have spoken up too much. Was sad to see Nashville go as we left. Arkansas here we come! Memphis has absolutely nothing. But wait - this is just a sign to come!
Arkansas has nothing to offer but bad presidents it seems. Ha. Only good thing here is Adam, and as much as I urge him to move to Tennessee or Virginia he doesn't seem to budge. The land is green and lush right now oh, and flat but there is nothing to see except miles and miles of said green, lush, flat land. Not my cup of tea.
Came across a huge standstill in the traffic. Miles of huge tractor trailers. Would hate to have been in that lane. I laugh at them! Listened to a new book on tape. I think the girls voice in it did Catwoman on the Batman Animated Series. I might be wrong.
Got tired on the drive. It's just my eyes though. Brain and body was awake, eyes got heavy. Yuck.
Finally at Adams! Love his new house. I just pray and hope that Keith and I luck out with a house we want. We're sitting watching house right now. Going to go out to eat with Outback and see Blades of Glory. Tomorrow we are going to some pretty looking gardens. Yay!
Ps. Blades of Glory won't win any awards but it had some genuine laughs in there. Quite silly really. Something I think Keith and I needed after a braindead drive.
A road trip of slightly epic proportions, to be taken by Keith and Dena
shortly after his return from Iraq and release from the Army. Shared
with all of you via a daily update here with plenty of photos and
insanity.
