For the first time in a long time, we started to head south today. East too! There wasn't too much too do on this trip aside from get to our destination, but it was certainly some pretty things to see. Lots of mountains in Washington. And not east coast mountains either. The real thing!

We made quick work of Washington and then made our way into Oregon, the first state we've returned to. I wanted to avoid getting gas in Oregon again, but since we didn't know when we'd see more gas stations, so we bit the bullet. It's not as if it's any harder to get gas, but we're not sure if we know what the proper way to do it is. Do you tip? Am I expected to get out of my car? Who knows.

Things quickly became desolate and deserted, aside from a cement plant, there was not much at all out in this section of Oregon. Once we got into Idaho, we ironically went by an OreIda potato factory almost immediately. Who knew! Boise was only about 50 miles in, so the drive was quick and easy. Our hotel was awesome for sure. It was Red Lion inn, which I guess is a Northwest thing, since I'd never seen one before this trip, nor heard of them. This one at least was pretty nice, very done up with small details. We ate in for dinner, since they had decent prices, and the food was also decent. Decent, decent, decent. Everything is decent. I lack more adjectives.

We were going to watch an episode of Lost before sleep, but my download of the episode had not worked, so it was not meant to be. Instead we read and then konked out. More driving tomorrow!

Early morning. Ugh. As we all should know by now, I hate early mornings. We quickly head off toward South-East! We're heading home now. Thankfully the scenary is still beautiful (at first). The further east we head the worst it becomes. Cows, dry grass, and not much else from here on out I guess.

Our Hotel in Boise was awesome. Above and beyond awesome actually. It was even better than Vegas where I spent way too much money on. The hotel is Red Lion Inn, and the bed was amazing. I even took the time to take the sheets off to figure out which mattress it was so I can further investigate in getting one like it for myself. The bed also had 6 pillows! Who gives six pillows? I loved it. The tv was nice, the soaps and everything was nice, and I even had a steak dinner! Go me! Everything was nice. If I ever had to go back to Boise I would stay there. I hope I don't ever have to go back, but if I did - Red Lion Inn I would go!

Dinner was the last bit of excitement that we had which we topped our steak dinners with some yummy cheesecake. Then sleep soon after!
